Unlocking a More Sustainable Inflow of Energy Across the Residential Space

Hiconics Eco-energy Technology, a green energy brand hailing from the Midea ecosystem, has officially announced, at the RE+ event, the launch of its new innovative, customized home energy solutions, designed specifically for the North American market. According to certain reports, the stated solutions cover a full spectrum of residential green energy needs, and therefore, make an important stride towards enhancing sustainable energy use in residential areas. From a more practical standpoint, though, Hiconics would introduce products such as residential energy storage systems, micro-inverters, solar panels, inverters, and EV charger. Talk about these new innovations on a slightly deeper level, starting with an All-in-One Residential Energy Storage System. Basically, this energy storage system arrives on the scene bearing an ability to address common issues, such as power outages, high backup battery costs, and expensive electricity. Furthermore, leveraging what would be an ultra-slim 6.7-inch profile, the whole system is able to adapt to small spaces, while simultaneously meeting energy needs from 5 kWh to 20 kWh. Not just that, it can also support stackable configurations, all while featuring an industry-leading eight-tier safety design and offering North American households unprecedented energy freedom and security.

The next innovation from Hiconics would be its micro-inverters. Specifically conceived to service developed markets like North America and Europe, these micro-inverters are essential for optimizing photovoltaic efficiency. The reason why that happens to be the case is rooted in its promise of a dual-MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) technology, which can go a long distance to facilitate precise energy capture. As for how it does that, the technology banks upon components like a dual-port quick-connect design for ease of installation, and a robust IP67 rating for extreme weather conditions, both chipping in to help the new micro-inverters deliver exceptional performance and smart remote management capabilities.

Moving on, Hiconics also took this opportunity to introduce a whole new EV charger. The stated charger is likely to deliver at your disposal versatile installation options, remote control, and scheduling features. All in all, the charger in question is made to accommodate various needs with single-phase 7 kW and three-phase 22 kW rapid charging capabilities. It also boasts automatic phase-switching technology to ensure safe and efficient charging. Then, there are Hiconics’ new solar inverters that, on their part, feature a large 20A DC per input and dual-MPPT technology. As a result, they can maximize performance across diverse roofing conditions. Beyond that, we ought to mention how the said inverters have an IP66 rating, thus guaranteeing durability in harsh weather. On the other hand, though, the inverters’ compact, plug-and-play design also simplifies installation and maintenance, and as for their AFCI arc-fault protection functionality, it is in place to greatly enhance network safety.

Rounding up highlights for us is a HiEnergy Series of Residential Energy Storage System, which is available, at launch, in single-phase and three-phase models. On top of that, the system also has to offer you modular stacking for easy expansion, IP65 protection for stable operation across various environments, and dual support for battery and PCS integration. In case that wasn’t quite impressive enough, this energy storage system also comes with a multi-level protection to ensure comprehensive user security.

Apart from that, the RE+ event even saw Hiconics announcing a strategic partnership with CSA Group, a global organization dedicated to safety, social good, and sustainability with provided testing, inspection, and certification around the world. Going by the available details, the idea behind doing so is to enhance North American home energy storage product certification, corporate system certification, and testing services.

“This agreement is grounded in our shared interests and will drive sustained growth and long-term development for both parties,” said Dennis Lee, GM of Midea Hiconics Overseas Sales Company. “As a milestone, we look forward to continued mutual advancement and reinforcing our leadership position in the international market.”
