Carbon Capture APAC Summit 2026 to Convene Regional Leaders in Melbourne to Accelerate CCUS Deployment

Melbourne, Australia – Carbon Capture APAC Summit 2026 (#CCAS2026) will return to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) on 8-9 July 2026, bringing together senior executives, policymakers, project developers, investors, technology providers and industrial leaders to advance carbon capture, utilisation and storage across the Asia-Pacific region.

As CCUS gains momentum across APAC, the region is entering a critical phase of development, moving from early-stage pilots and policy ambition toward bankable projects, shared infrastructure and cross-border collaboration. CCAS2026 will provide a dedicated platform for stakeholders across government, industry, finance and technology to examine how the region can scale CCUS deployment and strengthen its role in industrial decarbonisation and energy transition.

The summit is expected to welcome 700+ attendees, 75+ executive speakers and 50+ sponsors and partners, with participation from across the broader CCUS value chain. The programme will explore key issues shaping the next phase of CCUS development, including policy and regulation, project delivery, transport and storage infrastructure, technology innovation, investment models, carbon markets, community engagement and regional collaboration.

Across two days, CCAS2026 will feature a strategic summit programme, exhibition and technology showcase, dedicated networking opportunities, a gala dinner and the Start-up Innovation Challenge. These event features are designed to connect project owners, investors, technology innovators, infrastructure players and industrial emitters, supporting practical dialogue and partnership-building across APAC’s emerging CCUS ecosystem.

With Australia, Japan, Korea, Singapore and Southeast Asian markets all exploring pathways to accelerate carbon management and storage solutions, CCAS2026 will highlight the opportunities and challenges involved in turning policy momentum into commercially viable projects. Discussions will also examine how shared infrastructure, transparent project development and cross-sector collaboration can help build confidence, reduce costs and unlock investment at scale.

By convening decision-makers from across the full CCUS value chain, Carbon Capture APAC Summit 2026 aims to serve as a catalyst for regional collaboration, investment and project delivery, supporting the growth of CCUS as a critical pillar of Asia-Pacific’s low-carbon transition.
