SAF APAC Summit 2026 to Convene Regional Aviation and Energy Leaders in Melbourne to Accelerate Sustainable Aviation Fuel Deployment

Melbourne, Australia – SAF APAC Summit 2026 (#SAFAPAC26) will take place on 8-9 July 2026 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), bringing together senior leaders across aviation, energy, policy, finance, technology and infrastructure to advance sustainable aviation fuel deployment across the Asia-Pacific region.

As aviation decarbonisation becomes an increasingly urgent priority, sustainable aviation fuel is emerging as one of the most practical near-term pathways to reduce emissions across the aviation sector. With Asia-Pacific projected to remain one of the world’s fastest-growing aviation markets, the region faces both a major challenge and a significant opportunity: building the policy frameworks, production capacity, supply chains, infrastructure and commercial partnerships needed to scale SAF adoption.

Positioned as APAC’s leading platform dedicated to advancing sustainable aviation fuels, SAF APAC Summit 2026 will convene 500+ senior stakeholders from airlines, airports, governments, SAF producers, feedstock providers, investors, technology companies and the wider aviation supply chain. The summit will focus on practical delivery, supporting the transition from commitments and early-stage initiatives to investable projects, scalable solutions and real-world SAF deployment.

Across two days, the programme will examine the full SAF value chain, from feedstock sourcing and production pathways to logistics, blending, distribution and aviation end use. Discussions will also explore SAF policy development, regional demand creation, project financing, technology innovation, airport readiness, offtake models, infrastructure coordination and cross-border collaboration.

Key event features include the Strategic Summit, the Sustainable Airports Gathering Program, the SAF Project Hub – From Tech to Take-off, a tabletop exhibition and solution showcase, curated 1-on-1 meetings, networking coffee sessions, the Sustainable Aviation Cocktail and the Sustainability & Diversity Dinner. These formats are designed to help stakeholders identify partnership opportunities, exchange practical insights and support bankable SAF project development across APAC.

The Sustainable Airports Gathering Program will bring together 20+ regional and global airports to discuss SAF infrastructure, implementation standards and airport-led decarbonisation strategies. Meanwhile, the SAF Project Hub – From Tech to Take-off will provide a focused half-day platform for technical discussions and targeted matchmaking, supporting the progression of SAF technologies and projects toward commercial readiness.

By bringing together decision-makers from across the full SAF ecosystem, SAF APAC Summit 2026 aims to accelerate collaboration, investment and implementation, supporting the scale-up of sustainable aviation fuel as a critical solution for aviation decarbonisation in Asia-Pacific.
