Melbourne, Australia – AI for Energy Transition APAC 2026 (#AIETA2026) will take place on 7-8 July 2026 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), bringing together senior leaders from the energy, artificial intelligence, cloud, data centre, digital infrastructure and policy communities to explore how AI is reshaping energy systems across Asia-Pacific.
As the energy sector faces rising complexity across renewable integration, grid stability, power market transformation and infrastructure planning, artificial intelligence is becoming an increasingly important tool for improving forecasting, system optimisation, operational efficiency and decision-making. Across APAC, energy companies, utilities, technology providers, regulators and investors are now exploring how AI can move beyond pilot projects and support practical deployment at scale.
AIETA2026 will convene 500+ senior leaders to examine the convergence of AI and energy transition, with discussions covering smart grids, renewable integration, data-driven operations, power markets, energy security, enterprise AI, digital infrastructure, data-centre energy demand, cybersecurity and trusted AI governance. The summit will provide a dedicated platform for industry stakeholders to share practical use cases, address implementation challenges and identify new opportunities for cross-sector collaboration.
Across two days, the summit agenda will feature keynote presentations, executive panels, technical discussions, networking sessions and an exhibition environment for AI and energy solution providers. The programme will explore how AI can support more resilient and low-carbon energy systems, including applications in grid forecasting, distributed energy resources, asset performance, demand response, market operations and system reliability.
The exhibition will provide a platform for leading AI and energy solution providers to showcase technologies to senior stakeholders from utilities, grid operators, energy companies, government agencies and technology innovators across the Asia-Pacific region.
Co-located with Australia Wind Energy 2026, Carbon Capture APAC Summit 2026 and SAF APAC Summit 2026, AIETA2026 forms part of APAC Energy Transition Week, creating a broader cross-sector platform for collaboration across clean energy, carbon management, sustainable aviation fuels and digital transformation. This co-location will allow participants to connect AI-driven innovation with real-world energy transition priorities across multiple sectors.
By bringing together decision-makers from across the AI-energy ecosystem, AI for Energy Transition APAC 2026 aims to accelerate real-world AI deployment, support smarter and more resilient energy systems, and help advance the digital transformation of Asia-Pacific’s energy transition.
