EV Charging Infrastructure Xchange Canada 2027 has opened its Call for Speakers, inviting senior executives, utility leaders, charge point operators, fleet managers, site hosts, investors,
municipalities, technology providers, and public-sector stakeholders to contribute to a focused program addressing the next phase of Canada’s EV charging infrastructure market.
Taking place on April 14, 2027, in Toronto, Canada, the one-day conference will bring together the organizations responsible for financing, planning, building, energizing, operating, and scaling reliable charging networks across highways, communities, workplaces, multi-unit residential buildings, commercial sites, and fleet depots.
Canada’s charging market is moving beyond early deployment into a more demanding infrastructure phase. The challenge is no longer simply adding chargers. Long-term success will depend on grid readiness, energization speed, cold-climate performance, uptime, site
economics, asset utilization, and the ability to scale infrastructure alongside rising passenger and commercial EV demand.
Five Strategic Pillars
The 2027 program is structured around five strategic pillars: Cross-Canada Deployment:
Provinces, Corridors & Community Access; Grid Readiness, Utility Coordination & Energization Pathways; Cold-Climate Reliability, Uptime & Driver Confidence; Charging Economics, Funding Models & Asset Utilization; and Fleet, Depot & Medium/Heavy-Duty Charging Infrastructure.
Across these themes, the conference will examine provincial deployment gaps, corridor coverage, MURB access, transformer and interconnection constraints, tariffs, demand management, winter performance, maintenance planning, interoperability, project finance,
utilization risk, demand-charge mitigation, depot design, high-power charging, MCS readiness, Charging-as-a-Service models, and scalable energy management.
Call for Speakers
The conference committee is seeking speakers who can bring validated data, real-world operating experience, commercial perspective, technical expertise, and practical
implementation lessons to these discussions. Priority will be given to contributions grounded in actual deployments, measurable outcomes, project experience, and strategic decision-making rather than broad corporate or promotional presentations.
Relevant contributors may include leaders from utilities, charge point operators, fleet and transit organizations, municipalities, public agencies, real estate and site-host organizations, infrastructure developers, EPCs, charging hardware and software companies, energy
management providers, investors, and project finance organizations.
Speaking at EV Charging Infrastructure Xchange Canada 2027 provides an opportunity to
contribute directly to the conversations shaping Canada’s charging network while engaging with senior decision-makers across infrastructure, grid, fleet, capital, technology, and public-sector stakeholders.
Advancing Reliable, Grid-Ready Charging Infrastructure
With 100+ delegates, 15+ expert speakers, five strategic agenda pillars, and a 70%+ senior
decision-maker focus, EV Charging Infrastructure Xchange Canada 2027 is designed to provide a concentrated environment for technical presentations, executive panels, strategic
benchmarking, and structured networking.
The event centers on one defining question: what will it take to build reliable, bankable, and grid-ready charging networks across Canada?
Speaker proposals should include the speaker’s name, job title, organization, brief biography, and proposed topic or area of expertise.
